CHANGING MINDSETS TO STOP THE VIOLENCE

Need an Angel Sons & Daughters Association (NAASDA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works to empower and connect youth and their families in our local community. We strive to create lasting change through innovative programs that promote the well-being of youth and their families.

At NAASDA, we believe that all children and young adults deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our programs target areas such as education, health and wellness, and social and emotional support. We are dedicated to creating an environment where youth can thrive and reach their goals.

YOUTH INITIATIVE

We create safe and encouraging spaces where youth can grow emotionally, socially and creatively through meaningful conversation, mentorship, leadership opportunities, and community engagement. The initiative encourages young people to build confidence, strengthen identity, develop positive relationships, and explore personal growth in a supportive and uplifting environment.

NATURE CONSERVATION

Hands-on conservation activities, prairie restoration, gardening, outdoor learning, and environmental experiences help youth and families build a deeper connection to nature and community. Participants learn teamwork, responsibility, mindfulness, and the importance of caring for shared natural spaces while experiencing the healing and educational benefits of the outdoors.

Activities may include basic home repair, tool safety, organization, yard care, teamwork, problem-solving, and other real-world skills that help prepare participants for future responsibilities and opportunities.
