Join NAASDA as we care for Superior Street Prairie

So far at the prairie, we have enjoyed beautiful late spring weather as we gathered wildflower seeds.

The handsome lupine and wood betony were ready to pick. We'll look forward to processing and planting them to grow the populations of these rare plants and increase the biodiversity of degraded sections of the prairie - and so too will the birds, bees, and butterflies that rely on them!

This week, expect seed collecting, scouting for priorities, and other important seasonal tasks to protect biodiversity at Superior Street. We'll learn the ins and outs of this delicate site to ensure care for the health of this site for years to come.

We'll meet Friday, June 28th, at 10 AM and plan to work together for a few hours! All are invited to come, learn, lead, and make a difference. Please RSVP if you plan to come. It helps for planning and lining up the right tools.

Dress for the weather - Sturdy boots and not-too-precious clothes are recommended. We'll have tools and gloves you can borrow, but feel free to bring your own. And as always, please bring a snack to share if you like!
